The Psychology Honors Thesis is ideal for students who have experience working with faculty on research and are ready to design their own study.  Students can gain research experience through PSYC 202 (Directed Studies) or PSYC 402 (Independent Study).

The number of honors projects that can be supervised in psychology are limited, and we cannot guarantee that all students will be able to find a project advisor.  To increase your chances of finding an honors project advisor:

  1. Work with faculty before it is time to begin your thesis and
  2. Develop thesis ideas that are within the range of the expertise and resources available to faculty.
