All students are required to participate in the Psychological Sciences Research Roundtable series. The roundtable provides a forum for faculty, students, and guests to present their research, and to discuss topics relevant to professional development. The roundtable series has three goals:

  • To expose students to a wider variety of research in the psychological sciences than they would encounter in classes alone.
  • To provide opportunities for students to learn how to present and discuss research projects, both as listeners and contributors.
  • To provide a setting for professional development such as guidance on getting into Ph.D. programs, job opportunities for individuals with a master’s degree, research ethics, resume preparation and more.

Once a month, the research Roundtable meetings will be Concentration Specific. A detailed schedule of events will be distributed and posted on Blackboard each semester.
