VASP Graduate Student of the Year 2005

Jessica Shaffer, a Level III student on internship in Bristol Public Schools, Virginia, was recently named Graduate Student of the year for 2005 by the Virginia Academy of School Psychologists. The award was presented at a luncheon held Thursday, October 27 at the Sheraton West in Richmond. Ms. Shaffer receives a stipend and a plaque. Dr. Patti Warner, Director of JMU's School Psychology program, says that Ms. Shaffer won for her superior academic performance, leadership abilities, dedication and professionalism. Congratulations Jessica - we are very proud of you!
