Dr. Anne Stewart is the recipient of TWO awards – one national and one regional
Congratulations Dr. Anne Stewart! The JMU Graduate Psychology professor was recently presented with the Virginia Counselors Association (VCA) Humanitarian and Caring Person Award. On Friday, November 21, she will be presented with this award at a luncheon in Roanoke for her innumerable service at the local, state, national and international levels.
The founder and president of the Virginia Association for Play Therapy, Dr. Stewart was also awarded the national Association for Play Therapy (APT) “service to the field of play therapy award” and a “Gold Branch” award for the Virginia division of the APT.
