JMU School Psychology Program shines at NASP

The JMU School Psychology Program shone at the NASP Annual Convention in Atlanta this spring in spite of the rain. One of our alums, SUSAN PROUT, received the NASP School Psychologist of the Year award. This award recognizes excellence in the provision of school psychological services by a field-based practitioner. Susan practices in Lexington Kentucky and trains school personnel across the state in English as a Second Language Assessments. She received her Ed.S. from JMU in 1996.

JONATHAN BOYER, a first year student in the program, took first place in the annual 5K run. Jonathan represented us well by sporting a JMU t-shirt.
