New Director of the Alvin Baird Center

Dr.Trevor Stokes joined the faculty in the Department of Graduate Psychology to direct the Alvin V. Baird Attention and Learning Disabilities Center and to teach courses in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Research Design. A licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Stokes is nationally recognized for his work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, mood disorders, and attention/learning problems. He is both a researcher and a practitioner, introducing the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy model to the Baird Center and to the Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS). Trevor is originally from Australia and has held positions at West Virginia University and the University of South Florida. He is a member of both the Psychological Sciences and the Combined-Integrated Clinical/School Psychology programs.
