This past week, C-I program students Chad Doerr and Chris Bilder and faculty member Dr. Bob Harmison attended the 30th annual Association for Applied Sport Psychology conference in Indianapolis, IN.  They participated in four days’ worth of lectures and workshops. Chad presented a poster on physical activity and well-being. Bob and Psychological Sciences student Erik Inglis co-presented a lecture on the effectiveness of a mental toughness training program.  Along with two of his colleagues, Bob presented a workshop on developmentally-appropriate coaching and parenting strategies related to competitive youth sport participation.  Additionally, Chris, Chad, and Bob promoted the C-I program at the graduate program fair, during which they talked with 20-30 different individuals interested in the C-I program. Overall, it was a great professional development experience.
