Pamela Kaliski has been promoted to Psychometrician.

"Pamela has accepted increased responsibilities over the past year with her work on AP and, in particular, her role leading the SAT and PSAT Concordance work. She is an exemplar employee with excellent time and project management skills which contribute to her ability to be very productive and successful at the many tasks she manages as part of her workload. Pamela is particularly adept at mentoring junior staff and working with other team members. She is a very valuable member of the Standard Setting Team and Psychometrics. Carol Barry

Carol Barry has been promoted to full Research Scientist.

"Carol consistently exhibits substantial independence and initiative for her work and has grown into a strong leader within the Research Department. Carol is a true team player, always willing to help out those on the team and in the department. The scope and scale of her research clearly represents complex work that requires both excellent organizational skills and also extensive measurement expertise. She is conducting pioneering measurement research, mapping out a multi-year year research agenda that includes validity, development, and efficacy research.  Carol provides strong professional engagement through service to a number of professional organizations, including AERA, NCME, and NERA. Carol has served as both a formal and informal mentor to a variety of more junior staff members, including former JMU students, providing many unique and substantive professional to her mentees."
